Limescale build-up in domestic hot water systems can lead to reduced combi boiler flow rates and eventually blockages, leading to expensive de-scaling of heat exchangers and sometimes in extreme cases replacement of equipment. Limescale decreases heat transfer efficiency which in turn can cause an increase in costs. Just 0.8mm of limescale can decrease heat transfer efficiency by as much as 10%*.

The HYDROPATH HydroFLOW Pearl is designed to fit easily around existing pipework on the cold feed to where the pipework is heated, such as the inlet to either a hot water cylinder or a combination boiler. The HydroFLOW Pearl is suitable for homes with up to 4 bedrooms.
