Balancing a heating system sounds like it should be straightforward, but in reality it’s often frustrating, fiddly, time-consuming, and still far from precise. The Flow Regulating Valve (FRV) changes all that. Designed to take the pain out of radiator balancing, the FRV delivers a fast, effective, and consistent solution, without the guesswork.
For easy balancing: fit the FRV in place of the lockshield valve on every radiator, use the provided lookup chart to set the correct flow rate, and instantly verify it with the clear visual indicator.
More comfort, less cost: whatever is powering the heating, properly balanced radiators mean no more overheating in some rooms and cold spots in others – you get even, reliable heat throughout the home.
Tip top performance: FRVs are ideal for modern heating systems like heat pumps, especially on open-loop and weather-compensated setups, yet will also help you get the best from a gas boiler (by helping to cool down the return the boiler can run efficiently because it’s condensing properly) .
Flexible setup: want to keep your TRVs? No problem. The FRV only replaces the lockshield, so you can still use thermostatic valves where needed – for example, in rooms with unpredictable heat gains.
