The Vaillant aroTHERM Plus 3.5kW is the newest model in Vaillant’s high‑performance heat pump range. Using natural R290 refrigerant, it delivers excellent efficiency, ultra‑low environmental impact, and high flow temperatures suitable for both new installations and retrofit radiator systems.
Its compact monobloc design makes installation straightforward, with no F‑Gas handling required. The unit’s extremely low noise output allows flexible siting in terraced properties, semi‑detached homes, and noise‑sensitive areas.
The aroTHERM Plus integrates seamlessly with Vaillant controls such as sensoCOMFORT and sensoAPP, and works perfectly with uniSTOR heat pump cylinders for a complete system solution.
High Performance
Designed for stable output in colder climates, the aroTHERM Plus delivers flow temperatures up to 75°C, making it suitable for radiator‑based systems and hybrid setups. High hot water comfort is achieved without relying on immersion heaters for legionella protection, reducing running costs.
Energy Efficiency
With a SCOP of up to 4.9+ (model dependent), the aroTHERM Plus offers excellent seasonal efficiency. It is PV‑ready and SG‑ready, enabling integration with smart tariffs and self‑consumption optimisation when paired with solar PV.
Ultra‑Quiet Operation
Vaillant’s acoustic engineering ensures sound power levels as low as 52 dB(A). Noise‑reduction modes make planning and siting easier, especially in high‑density residential areas where boundary distances are tight.
