Primary Pro is specifically designed to insulate external heating pipework for heat pump systems.
Primary Pro’s unique design keeps external installation pipework dry and therefore prevents pipework heat loss, as all insulation joints are sealed with Condensate Pro Bond & Seal.
Primary Pro 42mm x 19mm x 1000mm has a unique weather & UV protective coating and fits 42mm copper pipework with soldered or press fit fittings. Primary Pro has a 19mm insulation wall thickness and is sold in 1000mm (1 meter) lengths, so you can cut and mitre to the required application.
When installing Air Source Heat Pumps it is extremely important that the external heating pipework and fittings are insulated correctly, to make sure every bit of energy generated by the heat pump is used efficiently. Completing heat loss calculations and designing systems to maximise heat pump efficiency are a complete waste of time, if you are not then insulating and sealing external pipework correctly. Primary Pro insulation can be also used to insulate through the wall to the length needed and then sealed to any wall fabric with the Bond & Seal.
