The Primary Pro Easy Fit Back Plate has been designed to make installing pipe clips for external heat pump pipework faster, easier and safer for installers.
Traditional back plates require multiple drilling points and separate fixings for each clip. The Easy Fit Back Plate simplifies this process by allowing installers to secure two pipe clips using a single fixing point, significantly reducing installation time.
This design can make installation up to five times faster compared with standard back plates, which is particularly valuable when time and weather conditions are not on the installer’s side.
Reducing the number of drilling operations also improves safety when working at height, as installers spend less time on ladders or tower scaffolding.
The back plate spaces the pipe clips away from the wall, allowing air movement around the insulation in all seasons and temperatures. This helps maintain the performance of external heat pump pipe insulation and allows easier access for inspection, maintenance and re-coating when required.
